This classic 150 capacity, no-frills décor venue is steeped in musical history. Inside there's a mix of scattered wooden tables and leather Chesterfield sofas, with an upright piano for a traditional English pub feel. A large standing area in front of a good sized stage encourages intimate interaction with performers. Along with the main bar area, there's a small bar away from the main music area that gives people a chance to chat. This leads to a small outside smoking area. Low entry prices combined with a late bar (1am), with probably the cheapest drinks in the area, help to make it an attractive night out.

Near Death Experience
NDX play moody psych-indie rock with hints of ‘60s garage and soul. The band comprises:
- Ian ‘Mr T’ Whiteling, vocals & acoustic guitar
- ‘Professor’ Bill Marten, electric guitar
- Amar ‘Groovemeister’ Grover, bass
- Mike ‘Sarj’ Sarjeant, drums
NDX formed in Ealing, West London, in early 2015. After cutting their teeth on an eclectic range of covers (from The Doors to Teardrop Explodes, Mink DeVille to REM, Them to Whitesnake) in local pubs, they were soon writing their own material, which they started touring exclusively from the end of 2016.
Their first four-track EP, The Last Summer, was released on Charisma Bypass Records in Feb 2017. Summer (the EP’s opening track) recieved airplay on BBC Radio London’s Introducing show, where presenter Gary Crowley described them as the “interestingly named” Near Death Experience, with "an 80s feel". Almost immediately Strange Fruit Radio added the track to its playlist.
NDX’s influences are wide and many; some people say they resemble a cross between Julian Cope and Paul Weller. In the few months they've been playing, NDX have headlined many London venues, including Water Rats, Underbelly, 229 The Venue, Dublin Castle and the Hope & Anchor.
The band continues to rehearse in West London’s must unusual and unofficial, but ‘holy' appropriate, music space ‒ an almost 300 year-old church.
There's more about NDX at NDXband.com.
The Suggestions are a collective group of talented musicians from a wide background. All members either met online through the musical network of London or mutual acquaintances. Alessandro is the longest serving member of the band that used to operate under a different name. The band struggled to gain momentum for years, musicians flowed through the band without any really commitment or direction. When Tom auditioned for the lead guitar role in late 2014, the band began to take more decisive strides. When Peter joined the rhythm section in 2015 the band began to perform under the name of 'The Suggestions' focusing on funk, soul and disco music. The Suggestions have progressed so much over the last 12 months, the band now has around 10 members that all work together as a collective family of musicians and are very keen to play live across London as much as possible.
Drömstad, translating from Swedish as 'dream city', is a London-based duo playing minimalistic and atmospheric pop.
Their music is carried on the vocals of Swedish native Amanda Martta Larsson and the keyboards and guitars of Hampshire-born Ned Gartside.

Nobody Listens To Silence : LIVE Presents...
Nobody Listens To Silence : LIVE returns to The Fiddlers Elbow in Camden for another night of great music with Ogre Melodies and the Lucky Punks.
OGRE MELODIES are a foot-stomping four-piece folk rock'n'roll band born in Yorkshire, raised in London. Originally all-acoustic touring buskers, they've played all over the UK including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Oxford, Bristol, Bath, Brighton and London.
“They are energy personified."
Marvin Close, Writer
“They've got it all: lyrics, soul, energy, pull. These boys are going places!"
Caitlin Hughes, BBC Worldwide
"Ogre Melodies left home so long back, they no longer know where home is. They infuse the streets with charismatic energy and happy countryside melodies wherever they go."
“Upbeat melodies, chorus singing and plenty of flair; these boys might not be a household name just yet but they definitely deliver. Their cuts have a genuine warmth and energy emanating from each note and guitar strum. Enjoy!"
Valerie, FrostClick Music"
LUCKY PUNKS are are Adam Pizey (Drums, Vocals), Ross Kelly (Guitar, Lead Vocals), Tom Harrison (Bass) and Cameron Smith (Guitar, Keys, Vocals). Growing up on their parents' record collections, the Berkshire boys were raised on a diet of baked beans and great British bands. They cite a wide-ranging list of influences, from The Kinks to Duran Duran. With elements of mid-90s Britpop, proto-punk and gritty New Wave, their Albarn-esque witticisms and driving guitars combine to form a captivating live performance.

If U2, Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine had a lovechild, it'd sound a lot like Nano"
Nano are an English progressive rock band that are based in London, UK. The band consists of Matt Honnor, lead singer, guitarist, pianist and songwriter/ composer, Stephen Clift, bassist, synthesisers, guitars and extra fx, and Ed Dunlop, drums, percussion, synthesisers and backing vocals.
Matt has trained in classical vocals and has taught himself piano and guitar. Currently he is studying film composition at West London University. With a guitar style that blends Jack White, The Edge and Johnny Greenwood, and a voice that has been compared to Matt Bellamy, you're sure to be blown away by his live performances.
Stephen has been playing bass for over 9 years now and has earned both a diploma and higher supplies Professional Music from ICMP in Kilburn. Drawing from a mix of influences, ranging from Joe Dart to John Paul Jones and Chris Wolstenholme to Pino Palladino, Stephen has crafted a unique style that has helped him throughout his many years of session work in both the studio and on stage.
Sam has played drums since the early days of high school, playing in jazz bands and other ensembles; namely the Merton Music Foundation. His interest in rock music developed in the later years at high school where Matt, Stephen and him played in several bands together. It wasn't till later that Sam joined the band and made Nano sound like they do today.
"Nano like to experiment with their music and the sounds they create, with influences from Depeche Mode and David Bowie, but they are no strangers to a big heavy riff; many of their shows end with an extended jam to a Nirvana or Rage Against the Machine track, reminiscent of a certain influence of theirs, Muse ."
After a heavy period of gigging in the summer of 2015, Nano took a short break in 2016 with things picking up towards the end of the year. In 2017 they hope to return to gigging regularly and aim to release new music in March, May and August.
Currently the band is attempting to build it's fanbase and crew, so if you'd like to be part of the Nano team and reap the rewards it offers, don't hesitate to contact us. Joining the mailing list is also another excellent way to keep up with Nano.

Husky Tones’ punk blues style favours the common rawness, simplicity and emotion shared between the punk and blues genres. Live it is delivered by drummer singer Victoria Bourne and guitarist Chris Harper. Their approach to music mirrors what they love as audience members: inventive, individual and fully aware of tradition without being a slave to it.
Having spent 2016 building a reputation for intense live shows at places such as London’s 100 Club and Blues Kitchen, Brighton’s Latest Bar and national UK festivals whilst performing material from their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Time for a Change’ their modern and varied sound has won them many friends and fans around the country and led to their being played on national (BBC Radio Two) and international radio.
Now touring with their eagerly awaited second album entitled 'Who Will I Turn To Now?’ Husky Tones’ politically charged punk blues is a unique and exhilarating experience.
'Fine album of contemporary punk blues delivered with energy, attitude, anger and sometimes primal rage.' Blues Matters
'This is music for an old-fashioned dark rock club, where sweat and alcohol keep the walls moist.' Alt Country.NL
'The duo Husky Tones weaves in an easy way a lot of heavy song with endearing ballads'. Keys and Chords.be
‘There are loose rules to Blues of course, but this band have just torn up the rule-book.' Phil The Music Quill
'This is the raw, urban blues with attitude.' 9/10 Bluesdoodles

The official book launch of ‘Paul Weller – Sounds From The Studio’ by Ian Snowball takes place on Saturday 15th July at The Fiddler’s Elbow in Chalk Farm, London NW5.
This special evening will feature an exclusive ‘In Conversation With’ The Style Council’s Mick Talbot, who is the only musician to have played with Paul through all three stages of his recording career.
Mick will be talking about the creative process and his favourite moments of being in TSC.
For those lucky enough to get a ticket, you will get a chance to ask him a question at the end of the interview, as we open up the floor.
There will also be a Q&A with Snowy about some of the interviewers he spoke to and why drove him to write about PW, album by album.

Sounds From The Studio is an in-depth look into each studio album Paul Weller has released since ‘In The City’ in 1977 up to ‘Saturns Pattern’ in 2015.
