S0DDS

Nonsense narrational punk.

Featuring noises like “uuuugh” and “PINTS”, S0DDS deliver a flavour of sounds suited to the astute punk palate. Conceived in the underbelly of Southampton, their members hail far away mediocre English cities, which gives them… Well, not much. But they are pretty good live. It's new stuff with old influence. "Like The Chats, but better" - some drunk rando at a soundcheck one time.

Cormac Looby is an Irish singer-songwriter from Co. Tipperary, currently based in Galway. Having honed his craft busking on the streets of Galway, he is now a regular on the music scene in Ireland, having previously had a spell in Manchester, UK.

With influences ranging from Mick Flannery and Phoebe Bridgers to Bruce Springsteen and Sam Fender, he combines elements of folk and pop music, with introspective and honest song-writing. In 2020, Cormac got to the final of Four Star Pizza's 'Star Nation' competition, representing Munster, and performed at the Róisín Dubh in Galway.

Cormac's debut single 'I Don't Need Your Love' was recorded at SHED Studios, Manchester, and was released on all platforms in 2020. The tune independently amassed 10,000+ streams across all platforms, was played on BBC Radio 6 with Tom Robinson, BBC Introducing, and was playlisted on RTÉ Radio 1. His second single, 'Feel Good', was released in November, 2020.

With an EP recorded at The Black Gate Studio, Galway, to come in 2022, the future is exciting.
