Female-fronted band Slaney Bay are hitting the indie music scene with full force. Exploring the whole indie-alternative genre, this trio of childhood friends intricately fuse soft, introspective lyrics with soaring, ear-worm guitar riffs. Formed in the lockdown era of 2020, the South London-based band brings palpable enthusiasm and excitement to their live shows. With delicate vocals reminiscent of Daughter, and euphoric solos capturing the essence of The War on Drugs, the band were deemed as ‘One to Watch for 2022’ by Modern Age Music. After only three gigs, Slaney Bay performed to a sold-out venue showcasing 2022’s upcoming talent. Slaney Bay’s debut single, ‘Talking About You’, garnered generous support in 50+ countries, with notable support from actor, Robert Carlyle.

'Following a chance meeting at a recording session in 2017 as solo artists, Annie Rew Shaw and Billy Wright’s vocals merged so effortlessly that everyone in the room agreed this had to be the beginning of something special. Within 12 months of their official formation, Dust in The Sunlight signed to indie label Project Melody. After honing their sound and merging their skills, the pair released their debut EP during the first UK lockdown in 2020. The self entitled body of work won many hearts with its gorgeous showcase of harmonious vocals and tender songwriting. Scooping support from the likes of BBC Introducing, Radio X, Clash and Record of The Day who after describing the sound as ‘A fine blend of Royksopp, The XX and London Grammar’ it’s clear to see this band is onto a good thing.'
