IN THE ROUGH PRESENTS dan PARTIES, Chase Tha Worst, WTSN and Marika For our first event as IN THE ROUGH, we knew it was only right that we brought along a roster of artists who are killing it right now in the London hip-hop scene. WTSN is currently working on a new EP, infusing live jazz instrumentation with old school hip hop production styles, and his sound confronts the complexities of identity, music and genre.
We are also excited to announce Chase Tha Worst, a rapper originally from Trinidad and Tobago. His music traverses the terrain of hip-hop and funk, and it’s his unique comedic flairs in his lyricism that make him such a fun artist to watch live. Finally, we have dan PARTIES. If you look up the word “energy” in the dictionary, dan PARTIES is the definition they give. Hailing from São Paulo, dan PARTIES is an artist that strives to confuse the audience, refusing to be defined through conventional systems of musical categorisation, instead constructing their own path in the music world!
