Tushara Rose
Avant-garde folk singer and all round $ick b1tch Tushara Rose has been delighting and horrifying crowds with her labyrinthine music for nearly a decade on the Naarm/Melbourne music scene. Her complex, colourful and political songs will make you challenge your perspective, laugh and maybe even cry.
Following releases on Blossom Rot and Critter Records (Aus), and a novelty Christmas song featured in Rolling Stone Magazine (bizarrely), Tushara is returning to play her first UK gig in 9 years, presenting the greatest hits of her weirdo catalogue.
Spagboll
Spagboll have been cheffing up original jazz/indie tunes over the last year, playing gigs at a range of venues including Scala and 93 Feet East. They recently released their first EP ‘Al Dente’ independently. Consisting of Hepzi on the vocals/flute, Luke on the bass, Michael on the drums and Dan on the guitar, they all listen to, and are inspired by, totally different musicians. This means that when they come together as a band, the spagboll sound is unique as it is enticing.
rosenberg. are a fresh Manchester-based, alt-rock piece formed by four musicians currently studying at BIMM University. At the core of the band are lead singer Kieran Rimmer and bassist Will Crump, who formed an everlasting musical connection after years of collaboration in their previous band. Their bond serves as the foundation for the group's raw, passionate sound, which draws inspiration from Interpol, Fontaines
D.C. and Keo.
