GREAT NEWS***********

We've teamed up with Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery Project for this show. So you can bring a friend for free! Read more below...

Music Venue Trust has teamed up with The National Lottery again to help deliver a Summer of great events in grassroots music venues across the UK with a fantastic line up of tours, one off events and special performances. And it's all about bringing friends and communities together to be #UnitedByMusic The idea behind this project is to encourage audiences into grassroots music venues and support artists and venues to deliver fully funded tours where all the artists costs are covered by the funding.

After the success of recent events supported by The National Lottery we are continuing to use the model where people can bring one friend as a guest with them to the National Lottery’s United By Music Tour show, free of charge to the customer and paid for via The National Lottery. By doing so, more people will get to enjoy live music and they will be helping to bring great events to grassroots music venues across the UK!

You will need to have played the lottery and provide your scratch card or ticket on entry

FONN, consisting of Fionn, Charlie, Freddie, Sam and Tommy, is an eclectic London-based band (not to be confused with the Norwegian construction company). With their biggest influences being The Japanese House, Phoebe Bridgers and Bon Iver, their music could be described as Alternative Indie, Electro Folk. They find their inspiration from different eras in music: they take the dreaminess of ‘60s and ‘80s pop, add some of the grit from the ‘70s prog rock scene, borrow a bit of grunge from the ‘90s and round it all off with the classic indie vibes from the 2000s. Important themes in Fionn’s writing are centred around mental health, coming out of depression, philosophy and existentialism. This is then translated into a dynamic but balanced sound, with astounding harmonies and production techniques inspired by the likes of BJ Burton, James Blake and FINNEAS. The band has already received support from BBC Introducing, they had a premiere in Exeter Cathedral in 2021 and they have multiple headliner shows in London under their belt. With brand new material on its way, this group of self-proclaimed “music nerds” is one you definitely want to see live.

Shadows of a Silhouette

Our music is heavily influenced by our working class roots of Derbyshire, United Kingdom We are a 4 piece group and we would describe our sound as relentless , vibrant, energetic and original. We herald from Alfreton in Derbyshire, United Kingdom and to date we have released 30 songs most of which can be found on all the main music platforms such as Spotify, Itunes and Amazon etc.

Our musical influences are many and varied such as Arctic Monkeys, White Stripes, Kings of Leon and David Bowie.

Many of the songs we have released we have all been aired on the radio show BBC Introducing for the East Midlands.

This year we have had the pleasure of playing on the main stage at Ynot alongside such household names as The Lathums, James and Kasabian. The whole experience of writing and performing our songs to live audiences has been unbelievable and cemented in our minds that this is what we want to do.

We love to play live music venues and we are keen on reaching out to a wider audience.

We have been fortunate enough to play at live music venues locally such as Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and London.

We have a loyal following, which is steadily growing with over 30 songs released on all music platforms with over 200,000 streams so far.
