Having amassed over 400,000 streams from his previous releases and Inspired by the likes of Bruno Mars, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man and J Hus, Kanda uses his lyrical storytelling to speak about several different socially dividing topics with the younger generation. From the age of 8, KANDA has been continuously performing in school, starting with cover songs and then from the age of 14 he began writing and producing his own songs and becoming very active on the music scene both locally and nationally.
Now having reached the tender age of 18, he is ready to accelerate his musical journey. In January 2023 he was signed to an independent record label in Leicester called HQ Familia & HQ Recording.

Having borrowed sounds and melodies from house, hip hop, techno, electro pop and funk, STMANN creates shimmering anthems heavily influenced by Jamiroquai, Kylie Minogue, Darkchild, Kraftwerk, Aaliyah and Prince. His new EP, ‘WIDEWORLD’ released at the beginning of 2023 floats between R&B laden, bass-heavy tracks – stripped, bouncy acoustics and sledgehammer beats. Conceived during the pandemic, it explores loneliness, ambition, romance and addiction all guised under spacey metaphorical rhetoric.
